If you or your road association would like to learn more about these opportunities, TLEA can have one of our board members contact you or speak at your Annual Meeting about this program.

Potential projects could include:

  • Substantially reshaping a roadside ditch and installing check dams to deter runoff
  • Increasing the diameter of a culvert
  •  Elevating road to deal with a specific erosion problem
  • Installing plunge pools

TLEA can also identify a variety of erosion control options available to individual homeowners as well as to road associations, including technical advice from local Soil and Water Conservation District Managers, road management workshops and Residential Matching Grants.
